In the Fall 2026 edition of Governance in Transition, Police Governance Ontario looks ahead to a period of change across Ontario’s police governance community. This edition focuses on preparing for Board transition, protecting continuity, understanding the role and commitment of Board members, budgeting for effective governance, and putting available tools and resources into practice. Members will also find updates on 2027 membership and Zones, new and updated Members Portal resources, recent PGO conversations and learning, and upcoming events through Spring 2027. Transition does not mean starting over. It is an opportunity to carry forward what is working, prepare for what is next and continue moving governance forward.
