The Police Governance Board Member Discussion Group is a recurring virtual forum created specifically for members of Ontario Police Service Boards and OPP Detachment Boards.
These informal, discussion-based sessions provide an opportunity to connect with fellow board members from across the province, explore emerging governance issues, share practical experiences, and learn from one another in a supportive peer environment.
This is not formal training or a webinar. Each session is designed to encourage open conversation, practical problem-solving, and the exchange of ideas between both new and experienced board members. Topics are guided by current governance issues, member interests, and emerging priorities.
Whether you are a Chair, Vice-Chair, newly appointed member, or experienced governor, these sessions provide a valuable opportunity to strengthen your governance knowledge, broaden your perspective, and build relationships with colleagues across Ontario.
