Across Ontario\, Police Service Boards\, OPP Detachment Boards and First Nations Police Governance Bodies are navigating increasing public expectations\, media attention\, political pressures\, operational demands and rapidly evolving community needs\, all while maintaining effective oversight and strategic direction. \nThe challenge is not that policing must respond to urgent situations. The challenge is ensuring that governance remains intentional\, focused and strategic rather than becoming reactive. \nJoin Police Governance Ontario for this engaging Learning Session as we explore practical governance principles that apply across Ontario’s police governance models while recognizing the unique legislative and operational context of each.
